“We had a lot of creative meetings where we would give feedback on each other’s work”
Got the chance to photograph the beautiful and creative Daryl Fijneman. Like I told you in my last post, I want to work on my portrait photography skills and asked my good friend Daryl to pose for my camera!
Luckily for me, Daryl has already experience with modeling, so taking a great shot of her isn’t that difficult! But according to my mother, I shouldn’t be so modest, and give myself some credits too 😉
Anyhow, let me tell you a bit more about Daryl and her work!
The first year of art school, Daryl and I were classmates. After the first general year, you had to choose a more specific direction.
I choose to study Graphic Design and Daryl choose to study Film. Our contact remained and we had a lot of creative meetings where we would give feedback on each other’s work.
“Often her own experiences with men are a returning topic where she explores the boundaries of pleasure and pain”
Pleasure and Pain
Art school was the place where Daryl discovered her love for performances combined with film. In her work, Daryl researches the physical and mental relationships between men and women.
Often her own experiences with men are a returning topic where she explores the boundaries of pleasure and pain.
Daryl graduated with a project called: ‘Saving a fish from drowning’. You should definitely check the registration of her work out!
